Breeding Expenses

CNIB is committed to providing our participants with dogs that meet the highest in international health and quality standards. Our guide dog puppies are Labrador and golden retrievers, or crosses thereof, acquired from breeders in Australia, the United States and Canada. A donation of $5,000 will support the breeding expenses of these special pups.

Over their working life, a CNIB Guide Dog will cost $50,000. If you are interested in making a significant contribution to fund the cost of a single guide dog, please contact guidedogsmg@cnib.ca for more information.
